Dr
Soo's Most
Nutritious biscuits have been inspired
by respected Melbourne GP and pioneer of
community medicine in Australia, Dr Soo
Sien Huang in the interests of better health.
Developed
in conjunction with nutrition scientists,
Professor Mark Wahlqvist and Dr Antigone
Kouris-Blazos from the healthyeatingclub.org.
Dr Soo's
biscuits are a satisfying and delicious
blend of nutrient dense ingredients.
By
comparison with plain sweet wheatmeal/oat
biscuits, Dr Soo's
biscuits are 40% higher in protein,
have 50% less saturated fat and salt and
30% less carbohydrate (glycemic index of
46). They are also a source of fibre, omega
3 fats, iron, folic acid, vitamin A and
iodine and are low in trans fat and cholesterol.
Dr
Soo was keen
for her snack to contain Oriental/Pacific
ingredients like
Dates (11%), Red Palm fruit oil (7%), Soy
(4.5%), Amaranth seed (3.5%), Cinnamon (2%),
Green Tea concentrate (1%) and Seaweed
powder (0.1%)
believed or reputed for centuries by these
cultures to have health protective effects
So enjoy tea with
your coffee!

is tooth friendly and helps lower the glycaemic
index)
reuced
in salt by 50%
